LA PLUME, PA - The women's tennis team dropped an 8-0 decision on the road to Keystone College Tuesday afternoon.

The Giants picked up their first win of the season with the triumph as the Keystone improves to 1-6 overall on the year. PBU falls to 0-7 with the loss, including an 0-4 mark in conference action.

Despite the sweep, the Crimson Eagles managed arguably their best collective team performance so far this season as it marks the first time there were no shutouts in either individual or doubles play.

At the number one singles spot, freshman Katelynn Wilson came closest to overcoming her opponent, eventually falling by scores of 6-2, (2-6), 10-5 to Shiloh Richner. It marks Wilson's first loss in singles play through her last four outings.

The doubles combination of Jen Friedman and Bethany McCormick just missed their first duo win on the season, falling to the Giant combo of Tory Girton and Tracey Kpeyou by a count of 8-6. Jennifer Rosol and Danielle Hirsch also came up just short, falling by a similar score to the Giants in doubles, 8-6.

The Crimson Eagles will return to Langhorne on Thursday to play the Ramblers of Rosemont College at 3:30 pm. On Saturday, PBU will close out a busy week by hosting Lancaster Bible College during the Crimson Classic in non-conference action at 11:30 am.
