Basketball team drops second straight in Kentucky

Squad shoots just 28 percent in 73-55 defeat

GRAYSON, KY - The Crimson Eagles struggled to overcome a poor shooting night that saw PBU connect on just 28 percent of their first half shots.

Down by sixteen at the intermission, the Crimson Eagles couldn't conquer the gap as Southeastern advanced to the fifth place game with a 73-55 victory.

Junior Summer Mullen once again led PBU with a team-high 18 points, while sophomore Dani Norton chipped in 16.

The Crimson Eagles will play in the seventh place consolation contest tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 pm. PBU will challenge five-seeded North Central University, a 59-48 loser to Maranatha late Friday.
