Tennis Team Comes Up Empty on Road

- Danielle Hirsch came through Friday afternoon in her second singles win of the season. Unfortunately, she didn't have much help.

The Crimson Eagles fell on the road to the College of Notre Dame, 8-1. Hirsch finished as the only PBU player to pull out win on the day as the junior out of New Jersey overcame Steph Thackoordeen by scores of 6-4, 2-6, 7-4. Hirsch just missed out completing two wins on the afternoon, falling with partner Jenni Rosol in doubles action by a score of 8-5.

Rookie Katelynn Wilson narrowly missed pulling out her fourth singles win of the season in a 6-2, 7-6, (7-2) loss to Miku White at the number one position.

The Crimson Eagles fall to 1-11 with the defeat, including an 0-8 CSAC record.

PBU will return to the court for their last match of the week, taking on Neumann College Saturday afternoon in Langhorne at 12:30 pm.
