Tennis team swept in second consecutive match

PBU drops 9-0 decision to Arcadia University

LANGHORNE, PA - The women's tennis team lost to Arcadia University at home early Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.

 

The Crimson Eagles were unable to generate any individual victories as PBU was swept 9-0 for the second consecutive match and for the 4th time this season. Both Alicia Kline and Laura Wronski managed to keep their matches somewhat close in singles competition as the sophomore and senior both eventually fell by similar scores of  6-3, 6-1. Playing in the number one spot in doubles competition, Kline and partner Melissa Chiasson battled to the end but fell 8-4.

 

Arcadia managed to control most of the other matches on the day and is now 4-8 with the win. PBU drops to 1-9 for the season.

 

After a string of three straight home games the Crimson Eagles will return to the road and travel to Keuka Park, NY to take on Keuka College. PBU will play the Storm this Saturday at noon.
