Ken Wilson

The 2017 season marks Ken Wilson's 12th year with the women’s tennis team. An alumnus of Cairn University, Wilson returned to his alma mater in 2006 to help jumpstart a program that had been struggling to stay afloat due to a lack of interest among the student population.

A Professional Tennis Registry certified pro, Wilson is a current member of the Philadelphia Tennis Club. Prior to his arrival at Cairn, Wilson's previous coaching experience included private instructions with stints with the National Junior Tennis League (NJTL) and the Philadelphia Recreation Department.

He has four children that are all active in the Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Center as well as with the NJTL Summer and After School Programs in Philadelphia. His daughter, Katelynn, graduated in 2011 and was the number one singles player on Cairns women's team for all four years. She returns this season as an assistant coach with her brother who also assists Coach Wilson.

Wilson recently retired from his position as a Social Services Administrator at the Office of Supportive Housing in Philadelphia. Ken resides with his children in the Philadelphia area.
