Barnes was named the inaugural SAAC Student-Athlete of the Week after leading women's volleyball to its first 2-0 start since 2013. Barnes paced the Highlander attack with 24 kills and a .367 hitting percentage over two matches. Barnes also racked up five total blocks, including four blocks in their season-opening win over Penn State Abington.
