Cairn University Athletics

The Cairn University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (@cairn_saac) has selected Cairn Women's Soccer senior goalkeeper Isabelle Portis (Midland Park, NJ / Eastern Christian High School) as the 8th SAAC Student-Athlete of the Week of the 2023-2024 year.

Portis collected 11 saves in the United East Women's Soccer Championship - Divisional Semifinal match on Tuesday at No. 2 Wilson College to force overtime and eventually penalty kicks. In penalty kicks, Portis made a PK and saved the final attempt by Wilson to win the match and advance to the Divisional Final.

The SAAC Student-Athlete of the Week honor is awarded to the best-performing student-athlete from the previous week of competition, as selected by the Cairn University Athletics Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
