Spadea earns SAAC Weekly recognition after being named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player of the Week this past week. Spadea homered on Tuesday in a non-conference matchup versus Eastern at Trenton Thunder Ballpark and followed up with long balls on Friday and then on Saturday’s game one versus Saint Elizabeth. Spadea’s home run streak extended back to last week to include a home run on Saturday, April 8 Keystone making it four games in a row. At the plate, Spadea had three home runs, one double, six runs scored and 14 RBIs on the week. On the mound, Spadea got the start, went 6.0 IP, and earned the win in game one of Saturday’s doubleheader to clinch the series against Saint Elizabeth.
